Hey Clancy!
This is Dan from the Country Inn & Suites in Zion, Illinois (remember, the guy who used to let you swim late?). Just dropping a line to see how you and your Sister and Dad are doing. Good to see you're doing well, and the stuff I've heard only convinces me that a good voice is getting great with maturity.
Keep the Faith,
Dan

Clancy sang karaoke after George Strait and Blake Shelton during an after party in Houston, TX. This young man blew them both out of the water during this mini live performance. No offense to George and Blake, I'm a huge fan and they are phenomenal! But this guy had some spot on powerful vocals. He will fill the Reliant Stadium someday soon.

Hey, Clancy!! --just googled you and found your website after reading that you're going to be performing at Oklahoma Electric Cooperative's annual meeting in Norman, Oklahoma. That's great. They're in for a treat. Even greater was listening to you in your online videos. All I can say is, WOW!--and those were from 2006. I can't believe how much you've developed your talent over the years. You sound quite different from that young kid we used to hear at Calvary. Jonathan and I miss hearing you. We're going to have to make it to one of your shows soon and bring our boys (we have two now). --And we'd love to hear Betty sing, "Ain't No Grave" again. (such good memories . . . ) Always keep your faith in God at the forefront. We love you.

Hi Clancy, Danny, & Karisa,
I have thought about you all and prayed for Shirley quite often. I had hoped to run into you or hear from you each time I've returned to CTCA for treatment. Shirley always made me feel comfortable and like a friend when I was around. I enjoyed you and Karisa singing at the Country Inn and CTCA. You really made us all forget our problems and find peace in the midst of difficulties and pain.
I had signed on to your website for the first time in a long time due to internet difficulties and being gone frequently. I had been to "contact" a few times to send a message without success. Today I saw the messages in your guestbook saying Shirley had gone to be with the Lord. I sorry and sad. You all have my sympathy and prayers.
I know today you are opening for Ricky. I know Shirley would be so proud. She really loved her family. I am so happy to know that you will be with her and our Heavenly Father one day. He greatest legacy she left is her children knowing the Lord.
I would love to hear the song Clancy wrote about his mother. If it comes out on CD I would like to buy it. We don't hear a lot about Clancy Davis in North Carolina yet, but I know we will.
Love and prayers to you all.

clncy,
i love you more than anything in the world! i wish that i knew what you are going through but i dont, i can only imagine. god only chooses the stronger people in the world to lose the most important things in their lives. well, looking at you now, you are pretty strong. when your mom first got sick you just knew that she was gonna fight till the end and thats exactlly what she did. i knew her for only a short time, and in that time she changed a few things in my life. she taught me that no matter how you feel that day you need to try to be your best no matter what, because in the end you have to satify the people around you. clancy we will all miss shirley, and we can only imagine how much you will miss her every day. just know that in every aspect of your life that she is there with you. no matter what you are doing today, or what you are doing twenty years from now, she will be with you be cause that is a mothers job. even if she is not in this world she is standing right beside you because that is where she wants to be.

Dear Clancy,
I heard about your mom's passing on the BS'er forum. I'd just like to say that I'm very sorry for your loss. I lost my mom 4 years ago and although it doesn't seem like it now, it will get easier. Let her memory get you through this and sustain you through the hard times. I'm not going to say 'I know how you feel' because I don't. Only you can know how you feel during this difficult time. Take care of yourself.
Respectfully,
Allyson H

Wish you well in Allen tomorrow night. I just won tickets off of the radio to come and see you again. My daughter, Samantha, sang at your concert two years ago in Allen. By the way, if you ever want an "excellent" back up singer, my husband has a voice that's a combination of George Strait and Josh Turner. (I kinda' married him for his voice) Have fun tomorrow night in Allen. Keep up the great work!

Clancey ( Karisa, Shirley and Dan),
Thank you for letting us be a part of your New Year's Eve 2008. It was a evening that we will always remember as a special. Little did we know that our last minute decision to find a hotel with a pool close to home would include your wonderful singing. Everything was perfect...the snow falling out side the window, the elderly couple dancing, the small children watching and the silly line dancing. I can't think of any place I would have rather been. Thank you for sharing your gift with us. You and your family are very blessed. I wish you all the best and keep you in my prayers.

Clancy: You may not remember me, but I'm B.B.'s daughter from that Country Music Place. One of my most cherished pictures is one your grandmother took with you and me in look-alike flag shirts. I've not heard anything about your mother since your concern in Ada and just wanted you to know that your family is in my daily prayers and I hope that all is well. Love you! P.S. My three kids are jealous as I have more pictures of you in my house than of them! Jolene Chesnut, Mead, Oklahoma and "That Country Music Place."(Posted on 2007-10-23 19:59:00 by )

Oct. 10, 2007 1:45 P.M. Clancy, We have been so impressed with your talent and your voice ever since the first time we saw you at That Country Music Place at Mead, Ok. I believe you were eleven or twelve years old at that time. You have continued to improve - so much that we both believe you to be the best entertainer around (even better than your cousin "Blake Shelton" - and we really like him). Your show in Ada when you had the benefit for your Mother was awesome. (there was at least 15 people from That Country Music Place there). We keep watching your schedule to see where you are performing. Hope to see you out there somewhere soon. With love from Donna & J.D.
