How does a young man get started in the music business?

In Clancy’s case, his Grandma Betty started singing with him in the car. When he was five, she decided it was time to move from the car to a more public venue. Since Betty didn’t know how Clancy would feel about performing in public, she decided to offer him his first business opportunity. Clancy’s grandma offered him $20 to sing in church.
