It all comes from a talented family...

Clancy has several musical relatives, but it was his grandfather, Dearl, who taught Clancy to play the guitar. Combined with the musical genes in his family, Clancy also has had a lot of practice and hard work.

Clancy’s first talent contest was at his church. He won the 10 Years Old & Under category at their Junior Talent Show. A couple of other contest wins presented him with the opportunity to open for some major country performers. In June 2003 he won at the Madill Sand Bass Festival and was the opening act for another relative, Blake Shelton. In October 2004, he won a contest that resulted in him opening for Lori Morgan. Since then, Clancy continues to perform, at a variety of functions across the state.

Clancy is looking forward to the ride ahead.
